On the afternoon of November 6, Kieran McCarthy, Mayor of Cork, Ireland, a sister city of Shanghai, Ann Doherty, Chief Executive of Cork, Ireland, and Conor Healy, CEO of Cork Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, visited the Shanghai Foreign Investment Promotion Center. Zhang Xian, director of Fengxian District Investment Promotion Service Center, attended the exchange meeting. Xue Feng introduced Shanghai's latest economic and social development, investment promotion work, and the cooperation between Shanghai and Ireland in two-way investment and trade in recent years. Mayor McCarthy said in his speech that Cork attaches great importance to the cooperation with the sister city Shanghai in various fields, especially Shanghai and Cork are both cities with ports, and the friendly exchanges in the fields of international trade, economic and trade exchanges, cooperation and mutual visits, and international educational cooperation continue to deepen andsolidify, and he looks forward to further friendship and cooperation between the two cities in the above fields.
