Shanghai-North American Clean Technology and Carbon Neutrality Cooperation Summit was successfully held

In order to give full play to the role of the CIIE as an international exchange and docking platform, actively respond to global climate change, and vigorously promote green development, on the morning of November 8, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Administrative Committee of the Lingang New Area, the "Shanghai-North America Clean Technology and Carbon Neutrality Cooperation Summit" jointly organized by the Shanghai Foreign Investment Promotion Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"), Lingang Group and the US-China Clean Technology Center was successfully held in the Lingang Exhibition Area of the Technology and Equipment Exhibition Area of the 6th CIIE. Zhu Yi, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commission of Commerce, Zhao Yihuai, Member of the Party Working Committee and Full-time Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Lingang New Area, Gong Wei, Vice President of Lingang Group, Everett Wakai, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in China, and An Feng, Executive Director and President of the U.S.-China Clean TechnologyCenter, attended the event and delivered speeches. Jing Ying, first-class inspector of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Xue Feng, President of Invest Shanghai, and Huang Shasha, Vice President of Invest Shanghai attended the meeting. At the event, 17 North American clean technology leading companies from hot fields such as carbon neutrality, new energy storage, new materials and new energy, circular economy, and zero-carbon technology conducted a promotion roadshow, while North American companies exchanged and docked cooperation opportunities with 67 Chinese companies in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. During the event, Lingang Group signed a cooperation agreement with the US-China Clean Technology Center, opening a new chapter in the cooperation between the two sides to deepen the clean technology cooperation between China and the United States. In the next step, the promotion center will work with Lingang Group to follow up the project docking and further implement the green and low-carbon cooperation between the United States and Shanghai.
