China’s first foreign arbitration institution business was approved to register in Lingang New Area

Recently, the Municipal Justice Bureau made a decision to approve the registration of the Shanghai Centre of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "South Korea Arbitration Shanghai Centre"), and reported it to the Ministry of Justice for filing and coding within the prescribed period before being certificated the Registration Certificate. South Korea Arbitration Shanghai Centre is registered in Lingang Special Area.

Lingang Special Area will take the approval of the registration of South Korea Arbitration Shanghai Centre as an opportunity to hold a signing ceremony for the launch of the business branch of the country's first foreign arbitration institution, fully unleash the demonstration and driving effect of the establishment of the business branch of the country's first foreign arbitration institution, continue to promote the method of arbitration dispute resolution, and attract more well-known arbitration institutions at home and abroad to settle in Lingang, create an international commercial arbitration practice base, continuously enrich the connotation of the one-stop dispute resolution centre in Lingang Special Area, and help Shanghai accelerate the establishment of a globally oriented Asia-Pacific arbitration centre.
