VIV Select China 2026, an international exhibition for the livestock industry, will bring together 550 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from Aug 19 to 21.
Themed "Connecting the Globe, Building a One-Stop Livestock Trade Platform", the exhibition aims to support the high-quality development of China's livestock industry by making it smarter, greener, and more internationally oriented.
The event will occupy five exhibition halls covering about 50,000 square meters, with participating companies from countries including the Netherlands, the United States, Denmark, France, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Turkiye, South Korea, Malaysia, and India.
Exhibition areas will span farming equipment, feed processing and environmental protection equipment, animal feed, feed ingredients and additives, animal health products, veterinary medicines, vaccines, slaughtering, and food processing. Together, the zones will connect resources across the livestock industry, covering the full value chain from feed to food.
The V-AI+ Smart Livestock Zone will showcase digital solutions powered by artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data. Applications will include farm management, disease prevention and control, and precision feeding.
Pre-registrations of international visitors cover 111 countries and regions, with the number increased by 56 percent from last year. More than 20 industry organizations from China and overseas will also bring delegations to the event.
More than 20 conferences and forums are scheduled alongside the exhibition. Among them, the eighth VIV International Summit 2026 will bring together global industry leaders and experts to discuss global livestock market trends, sustainable development, artificial intelligence, grain-saving feed solutions, low-carbon technologies, international expansion, and biosecurity, helping companies better understand industry trends and identify paths toward high-quality growth.
