Shanghai, Catalonia ink MoU to enhance business exchange

A themed activity was recently organized by the Huangpu Overseas Friendship Association and HRC at the Bund Service Center for International Professionals to push forward the industrial and commercial cooperation between China and Spain.

Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of cooperation with Foment del Treball Nacional, a long-standing association representing the interests of business and industry in Catalonia, to strengthen regular and systematic business exchanges.

The two sides agreed to organize mutual business visits in such fields as new energy, advanced manufacturing, green infrastructure, and R&D for industry matchmaking.

At the same time, they will also promote technology and talent exchanges and joint R&D to accelerate the commercialization of innovations in green and low-carbon development, advanced equipment, and the digital economy.

Moreover, they will utilize their respective chamber networks to enhance cross-border business services, offering policy consultation, compliance guidance, and risk alerts to support enterprises expanding into each other's markets.
