The Lu-Link global premium consumer goods exhibition base in Shanghai's Lujiazui has expanded its displays with artworks and cultural-creative products. In doing so, it has strengthened its role as a year-round platform connecting global brands with the Chinese market beyond the China International Import Expo (CIIE).
Having opened in June, Lu-Link extends the value of CIIE beyond the exhibition itself by serving as a launchpad for overseas brands, a hub for commercializing CIIE exhibits and a destination for premium consumer experiences.
Flexible exhibition formats - including ready-to-use display areas, pop-up shops and retail zones - allow international companies to engage directly with consumers, receive timely feedback and reduce the time and cost of entering China.
The showcase now features nine consumer categories, ranging from premium food and home furnishings and outdoor sports to smart technology and art and cultural products.
Brands and institutions from countries as far afield as Spain and Singapore are using the platform to build market awareness and develop new business partnerships.
Looking ahead, Lu-Link plans to establish a two-way trade platform that supports both the import of high-quality international products and the global expansion of Chinese brands.
A year-round program of themed events, including food festivals, coffee tastings and fashion activities, will further strengthen its role as a gateway for international consumer exchange and trade cooperation.
