World's leading plastics and rubber trade fair opens in Shanghai

CHINAPLAS 2026, the world's leading plastics and rubber trade fair, opened on April 21 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

Running until April 24, this year's fair highlights innovations in the circular economy, digitalization, and advanced materials, aiming to inspire confidence and drive sustainable development in the plastics and rubber sectors.

Spanning a record 390,000 square meters, the event features over 5,000 exhibitors from around the world, marking an 11 percent increase from 2024.

The organizer says that building a high-quality platform for industry exchange and supply-demand coordination is the most effective way to help enterprises navigate cycles, enhance resilience, and expand their business.
