2025 WAIC to debut radio technology-themed forum

The 2025 World AI Conference & High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance is gearing up to feature its inaugural radio technology-themed forum.

Focusing on wireless empowerment, ecological collaboration, and industry integration, the forum will bring together numerous high-profile guests and industry experts to explore the applications, developments, and challenges of AI technology in areas such as spectrum management, 5G-A/6G, the low-altitude economy, and satellite internet.

Since the early 21st century, radio waves have been a key driver of the global technological revolution. As artificial intelligence reshapes the industrial landscape, the forum will focus on the intersection where artificial intelligence empowers radio innovation development.

In addition, the finals of the first global "AI + Wireless Radio" challenge will be held at the forum. Initiated in April, the competition has garnered widespread attention from academia and industry. Throughout the two-month preliminary round, a total of 276 teams from over 100 universities and enterprises worldwide signed up to compete.

The 2025 WAIC is scheduled to take place from July 26 to 29 in Shanghai, providing a world-class platform for cutting-edge innovation, industry exchange, and investment matchmaking.
