Forum to explore mutual promotion of math and AI during WAIC 2025

The Forum on Mathematical Frontiers and Foundational Reconstruction of AI will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center on July 26 during the World AI Conference 2025.

The forum will bring together mathematicians, AI experts, supercomputing engineers, and representatives of investment institutions to engage in in-depth discussions on important topics such as the dynamic interplay between AI and mathematics, the path to future General Artificial Intelligence, and global collaboration on basic research.

Distinguished academicians and professors from institutions like the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Cornell University, and the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences, will share their insights into cutting-edge subjects such as large-scale language model optimization, machine learning in cybersecurity, adversarial modeling, and investment in mathematics.

An event will be held to establish an international platform for mathematical talent exchange and foster deep collaboration and innovation among young talent in the intelligent era.

Two major international mathematical laboratories will be unveiled, which will focus on foundational research integrating mathematics and intelligence and serve as new platforms for international scientific cooperation.
