A number of the latest products in the air mobility sector are set to make their debut at the first Advanced Air Mobility Expo, which will be held in Shanghai from July 23 to 26, organizers said July 8 at a news conference.
Aiming to enhance the practical application of advanced air mobility and boost the development of the low-altitude economy, the expo has attracted the participation of almost 300 exhibitors from across the world, with organizers expecting more than 50,000 visitors.
Drones and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are expected to be the highlight at the expo, with a number of the latest offerings to be unveiled for the first time.
Vector5 — the world’s first large-payload eVTOL aircraft designed specifically for emergency medical services and search and rescue — will make its world debut at the expo. Other global firsts include Genenkosy's air traffic safety and security management platform, and the AI-101, a large fixed-wing intelligent unmanned aircraft.
The hydrogen-powered drone H100, the amphibious aircraft RC-3 Seabee, and the eVTOL simulator "Qianmi No 1" will make their China debut at the expo.
In addition to showcasing new products and solutions, the expo will feature over 30 forums, serving as platforms for global exchange on the integration of technology, capital, talent, and policy to support the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.
Representatives from European and Singaporean aviation authorities, as well as business leaders including Vertical Aerospace from the United Kingdom, Eve Air Mobility from Brazil and Italian giant Leonardo will join the forum sessions.
Organizers have announced that a high-level indoor drone football competition will be held during the expo, offering visitors a unique blend of sports and technology.
