The 12367 service hotline of the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection has handled over 256,000 inquiries since its launch in April 2021, offering guidance on immigration policies and customs procedures.

This year alone, the platform has assisted over 5,000 foreign nationals, maintaining a 100 percent on-time response rate.

To meet the growing demand for multilingual services, the platform now supports Russian, Japanese, and Korean in addition to Chinese and English. Users can select their preferred language via voice navigation.

The platform has also extended its services offline. During the 7th China International Import Expo, it set up a dedicated consultation booth to provide immigration policy information, offering 24/7 assistance to international participants.

An Australian tourist who entered China visa-free recently lost her passport and called the 12367 hotline. Officers at the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection explained how to reissue it and directed her to the Australian consulate.
