MWC Shanghai 2025 to debut World Robot Contest Qualifier

The Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2025 will be held from June 18 to 20 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and Kerry Hotel Pudong, according to the Global System for Mobile Communications Alliance, the event organizer, and an international association of mobile operators.

The event will bring together innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders worldwide to delve into the transformative impacts of 5G, artificial intelligence, and internet of things on various sectors, propelling forward a new era of intelligent and interconnected growth.

By 2030, mobile connectivity is projected to contribute $2 trillion to China's economy and nearly $11 trillion to global GDP, fostering enhanced productivity and establishing a more intelligent and sustainable society.

For the first time, this year's event will feature the GSMA Innovation Frontier Zone, highlighting innovative enterprises that are redefining artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive experiences, and autonomous driving.

Numerous high-tech companies will showcase cutting-edge technologies, such as robotaxis and fully autonomous driving systems, drones, and humanoid robots.
