The 2025 China International Finance Exhibition will be held from June 18 to 20 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, coinciding with the Lujiazui Forum, which will be held from June 18 to 19 in the city.

Being held for the 31st time since its launch in 1993, this year's exhibition is returning to Shanghai for the first time since 2015.

The event will cater to a diverse audience, with June 18 and 19 reserved for industry professionals and June 20 open to the general public.

The exhibition will be organized into five thematic zones: financial infrastructure, products, services, technology, and international and regional finance.

A series of forums covering 18 topics will delve into the latest developments in digital finance, offering attendees valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the financial sector.

A highlight of this year's exhibition is the debut of a dedicated fintech zone, spotlighting real-world applications of cutting-edge technologies such as quantum computing, privacy-preserving computation, and next-generation communications.

"Shanghai has solidified its position as a gateway for China's financial opening-up and has become one of the few cities with a fully developed financial market", said Li Wei, chief of the science and technology department of the People's Bank of China. "This year's exhibition will feature a series of activities centered on renminbi internationalization and cross-border financial services."
