Global call for AI innovators: Join startup exhibition at WAIC 2025

The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) is set to open in Shanghai this July, offering a world-class platform for cutting-edge innovation, industry exchange and investment matchmaking.

The event will be held across two major venues: the Shanghai Expo Center from July 26 to 28, and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from July 26 to 29.

A highlight of this year's program is the Future Tech innovation incubation zone at the exhibition center, where 200 top-tier AI startups from around the world will be selected to showcase their technologies on-site.

Applications for Future Tech are open now and will close on June 10.

What's on offer for participants?

Exhibition exposure: Each selected company will get a 6-square-meter dedicated booth for four days, benefiting from an estimated 350,000+ in-person visitors and over 2 billion online impressions.

Roadshow spotlight: Fifty standout startups will be invited to pitch their projects in 15-minute live roadshows over three days, with full live stream coverage.

Investment matchmaking: The event will bring together more than 100 leading investment institutions and over 200 senior investors.

Industry resources: Participants can engage in direct dialogue with over 2,000 investors and 500 corporate innovation leaders.

Market access: The conference will feature 80 closed-door matchmaking sessions and more than 15 billion yuan ($2.1 billion) in potential procurement orders.
