Good morning distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen!

Thank you to the organisers of the China International Import Expo and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum for giving me the opportunity to address this wonderful audience. I am very pleased to have Olam Agri present at these two very important events this year. As a global leader in the food and agriculture industry, our presence here reflects our commitment to fostering global trade and our continued commitment and confidence in the Chinese market. Our China team attended the Hongqiao International Economic Forum in 2022, which proved to be very impactful not just from a business perspective, which it was, but also to connect with the industry and all of you on a more personal level. It provided a great platform where we could exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore opportunities for mutual growth.

Speaking on behalf of my colleagues on the ground, as we approach the CIIE and the Hongqiao Forum this year, we are excited to start engaging with companies, experts, and representatives from various fields, industries, and regions. The diversity of participants reflects the global village we live in, and it is through such interactions that we can truly understand and address the challenges and opportunities of our times.

I sincerely wish the CIIE and the forum both resounding successes. It is indeed a pivotal event that brings together leaders from across the globe to discuss and shape the future of international trade and economic development. Our Olam Agri team led by Himanshu will be at the event and we are looking forward to meeting you all there.
