I.Basic Information
Geographical Location: It is located in the south of Shanghai and center of the "1.5-hour urban radius circle of the Yangtze River Delta".As the node of the grand coast freeway for Yangtze River Delta , it is the central city in southern Shanghai and the core city of the comprehensive service-oriented region on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay.
The harbor, airport and road harbor are of trinity for Fengxian district, which is the only urban area equidistant from the two major international airports and an international shipping port. 45 minutes drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Yangshan Deep-Water Port. In 2018, the economic and social development of the district is generally stable, progressing and improving steadily, showing a high-quality development trend of more stable growth, coordinated and sustainable with better structure and benefits.The added value of the three industries reached 84.15 billion yuan with an increase of 8% year-on-year , and the growth rate reached a new high of six years.The total fiscal revenue of the district reached 49.22 billion yuan, up to 22.1% year-on-year. While District fiscal revenue reached 15.12 billion yuan, up to 18% year-on-year, ranking second in the city.
